TOWN OF CHERRY VALLEY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT POSITION AVAILABLE The Town of Cherry Valley Highway Department has a Full Time Heavy Equipment Operator/Snowplow Driver position available. Applicant must have a Class B or higher driver's license with air brake endorsement. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator/Snowplow Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a variety of heavy machinery, including loaders, graders, backhoes, and snowplows, to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of roads, construction sites, and other areas. Key responsibilities include clearing snow and ice during winter months, performing routine equipment inspections, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting with minor repairs and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment, a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL), and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Availability for on-call shifts during adverse weather conditions is essential. This is a physically demanding role requiring attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively under challenging conditions.
